Pure alfalfa fiber
Lucerne is the queen of forage plants and is characterized by its particularly high proportion of essential amino acids. Lucerne is a high-quality roughage substitute or roughage supplement and, in addition to high-quality protein and essential amino acids, brings important minerals and trace elements into the horse's feed. Pure alfalfa fiber has a particularly high fiber and structure content compared to our LEXA alfalfa cobs and is therefore ideal as a structural feed that enhances the horse's diet in a diverse and completely natural way. Pure alfalfa fiber is characterized by a moderate protein content, provides little energy and is extremely low in sugar, but still brings important essential amino acids into the feed. Pure alfalfa fiber can therefore be used in a variety of ways. Due to the high crude fiber content, this alfalfa is suitable as the sole manger feed for horses during weight loss or as a valuable structural feed supplement for all horses. Even for sport horses, pure alfalfa fiber can enhance the grain-rich ration because this fiber can be mixed directly with the grain and thus promotes slow and stomach-friendly absorption of the concentrated feed without loading the ration with too much protein. As a completely starch-free and low-sugar feed plant, it offers an excellent manger feed alternative for those with sensitivity to sugar metabolism or for horses with grain intolerances and for special breeds. Pure alfalfa fiber promotes chewing activity and ensures longer chewing time, which benefits the horse's sensitive digestive tract. Pure alfalfa fiber is a high-quality natural product, completely free of additives, grain and molasses.
