- to support the development of physiological intestinal flora
- for horses with poor feed conversion or for building up when the feed is in poor condition
Tip:
Here's what you should pay attention to to prevent digestive problems:
- At least 1.5% hay based on the horse's body weight (for a horse weighing 500 kg, at least 7.5 kg of hay per day)
- At least 2 meals per day (the more often, the better!)
- First give hay and after about 15 minutes feed concentrate
- Pay attention to perfect feed quality
- Make sure the feed is easy to digest (whole and broken corn can hardly be digested by the horse)
- Wait at least 1 hour after feeding before working the horses
- Always provide enough water
- Change food over a period of 3 to 4 days: slowly reduce the previous food and gradually add new food
- Make sure that your horse can eat in peace (constant harassment while eating often leads to digestive problems in open stables)
- Deworm regularly
- Check teeth
- Exercise horses sufficiently
Feeding recommendation:
Large horses: 200 g per day.
Ponies and small horses: 100 to 150 g per day.
Suitable for long-term supplementary feeding. For sensitive horses, we recommend replacing the main feed in whole or in part with Structure Prebiotic .
Concomitant oral administration of macrolides should be avoided.
Do not feed to pregnant mares.
