To support the digestive tract and increase sand intake.
Psyllium husks are traditionally used to support the digestive system. Thanks to their swelling properties, they stimulate intestinal activity and promote the regeneration of healthy intestinal flora. The mucilage it contains can protect the intestinal mucosa and can help to bind and excrete sand deposits in the intestines. This is why psyllium husks are often recommended for horses that consume too much sand and soil.

Ideally suited:

To support the intestines
With increased sand intake

Feeding recommendation:

Large horses 20 - 30 g daily
Small horses and ponies 15 g daily

Feeding should occur over a period of 7 to 14 days.

Horses that stand on sandy soil or grazed pastures and are exposed to increased sand intake, 20 - 30 g once a day for a period of 7
Feed for days and repeat this treatment every 3 to 4 weeks.

Please soak the psyllium husks in a generous amount of water (for 30 g of psyllium husks
you need approx. 0.5 – 1 l of water).

Never feed it without soaking! Always give your horse free access to water.
