High-quality mineral feed for broodmares and breeding stallions.
The LEXA breeding mineral is a high-quality mineral feed that was specially designed to provide the needs of broodmares and breeding stallions with all vital minerals, vitamins and trace elements. To ensure good bioavailability of the vital minerals contained, bioactive algae lime was used and the supply of essential trace elements was optimized by adding organically bound zinc, copper, manganese and selenium. A sufficient supply of all essential trace elements is an essential prerequisite for the healthy development of the foal in the womb and supports the mare's milk production after the foal is born. The breeding mineral provides mares with the appropriate amounts of vitamin A, ß-carotene and vitamin E, which is essential for securing these vital vitamins in the colostrum. The intake of these immune system-strengthening vitamins with the mother's milk is essential for the vitality of the foal, as the foal is born without reserves of these vitamins and therefore has to absorb these vital vitamins through the mother's milk. The breeding mineral contains the essential amino acids lysine, methionine, threonine and cystine to improve the quality of protein supply. Supplementary feeding of essential amino acids can have a positive effect on both the breeding mare's milk production and the breeding stallion's sperm production. The cultured mineral also contains diatomaceous earth and sea algae, which are natural sources of micronutrients and can promote a shiny coat and overall vitality.
