Starch oversupply is currently a major issue in horse feeding. Manger feed rations containing grain in particular provide high amounts of starch, which can put a strain on the horse's gastrointestinal tract and overall metabolism. With the green oat cobs from LEXA, we offer a concentrate substitute that has low starch and sugar contents. The whole green oat plant is harvested at the end of flowering, gently dried and pelleted.

Please soak the green oat cobs in a generous amount of water for 30 minutes. 1 kg of green oat cobs should be prepared with at least twice the amount of water.
