By repeatedly pressing the control lever, the animals pump water from depths of up to 7 m into the drinking bowl. The animals learn how to use the waterer very quickly. One pump supplies approx. 15 – 20 cattle. In the mother cow model, the cow pumps the water for the calf. The small drinking container on the side is specially designed for the calf's mouth. Water always flows from the main basin, which is designed for the mouths of large cattle, into the small drinking bowl.
• The animals pump water out of themselves up to a depth of 7 m (1 m vertical = ~ 3 m horizontal)
• Pump capacity: 0.4 liters/stroke in lever position No. 1; 0.3 liters/stroke in lever position No. 2
