LEXA Lucerne cobs are suitable as a versatile and high-quality roughage supplement or manger feed substitute for leisure, sport and breeding horses. They bring high-quality protein components into the ration and naturally support the horse's overall vitality, muscle building and metabolism. Lucerne slowly releases energy, so that lucerne cobs are also ideal as a grain substitute for horses that develop too much of a temperament through grain feeding. Due to their digestibility, they ideally enhance the roughage quality of sport horses and leisure horses and support optimal muscle development and promote overall well-being. Note on use: Lucerne brings a lot of calcium and iron into the ration, so when feeding quantities of more than one kg per day, make sure it is adequately balanced with trace elements (zinc, copper, manganese, selenium) and minerals (phosphorus). Mineral feeds with a high calcium content and high amounts of iron are not suitable for this, as otherwise imbalances and antagonism can occur.
