High-quality mixture of hydrothermally digested corn and barley flakes rounded off with vegetable oils.
Along with oats, corn and barley are the most digestible grains for horse feeding. Corn is characterized by its high energy content and low protein content and barley is used as a proven grain because sensitive horses develop less temperament when fed barley compared to oats. However, as untreated grain, both cereal flakes are very difficult for horses to digest and can lead to significant disorders in the gastrointestinal tract. If you want to use these proven types of grain in horse feeding, hydrothermal treatment of the grain is the best solution to achieve optimal digestibility. In addition, the hydrothermal treatment 100% excludes germs and other hygienic contamination, so that a hygienically absolutely harmless and high-quality grain is available for the horse's demanding diet. We have combined these two high-quality grains in a balanced manner of the highest quality and rounded them off with vegetable oils. Vital Flakes Mix contains no molasses and no added vitamins, minerals and trace elements. This makes it possible to use it on very sensitive horses. In addition, Vital Flakes Mix is ideal as a concentrated feed for targeted supplementation with our high-quality LEXA mineral feed range and our premium Atcom-Horse line . If necessary, Vital Flakes Mix can be ideally combined with all LEXA mueslis to increase the grain proportion in the ration.
