The seeds of milk thistle (Silybum marianum) contain silymarin and silbinin. Silymarin & silibinin possess hepaprotective, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities (Vargas-Mendoza et al., 2014; Bahmani et al., 2015; Dehmlow et al., 1996). This means that liver metabolism is optimally supported. Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) contains a wide range of liver-supporting substances (including cynarin) and has always been administered to support the liver and the digestive system (Aksu & Altinterim, 2013; Colak et al., 2016). The interaction of these phytonutrients in combination with other selected herbs naturally supports liver metabolism.

Since the liver and digestive tract are very closely related to each other, Hepar-B contains targeted doses of high doses of B vitamins, because intestinal and liver stress can lead to a reduction in their own synthesis.

Hepar-B has a high content of organically bound zinc, as zinc plays a key role in numerous enzyme functions in metabolism and is therefore essential for liver metabolism.

Lecithin, carnitine and choline chloride support fat metabolism in the liver and thus help to relieve the liver metabolism when taken orally.

Grape seeds and rose hips, in conjunction with zinc, organically bound selenium and vitamin E, can support the entire immune system.
