Hemp is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and has an optimal ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. Due to the gamma-linolenic acid it contains, hemp is particularly suitable for horses with sensitive fur and skin.

Due to the low sugar and starch content in small quantities, it is also ideal for horses with sensitive metabolisms.
